Surprise Dahlia
I thought I'd lost her, due to lack of rain but here she is in all of her glory
I love dahlias too. I planted that one just this fall so they've not had a full season to really get established. With the bad weather I didn't think she'd give me any more blooms this season. This whole thing with plants gives me goose bumps, it's a daily miracle that goes on all day, every day, for anyone who wants to check it out.
Beautiful flower, and VERY nice picture. Thanks for your comment and email about my lighthouse dishcloth. I love your sewing notions pictures. And I,too, had a leaky pipe this past weekend that created a large hole in my kitchen ceiling!
beautiful! i love dahlias. you have quite a green thumb.
ReplyDeleteknitting in chicago is great! lots of knitters, lots of knitting stores - good times. new jersey seems like a great place for knitters, though, too.
