About a dozen pigs, including this one, escaped from a flooded Iowa farm and made it to a levee. But they were shot and killed by authorities who said the animals threatened to weaken the barrier.

i couldn't live without bacon. occasionally. but you try. go ahead.
Poor little pigs. When they're cute like that, it's hard for me to remember they like to roll around in the mud...and other stuff.
Hm... what's in those 'sandbags'?
I don't eat pork, hardly eat beef, hardly eat meat at all but poor little piggies. Wow, I mean really, did they have to shoot them ? Hey, where was PETA in all of this or that only for those furry creatures ?
I was wondering if they made bacon out of them. Ewwww. Poor piggies, but I do love bacon.
Ok I saw that pic on Drudge, but I didn't realize they killed the pigs. Stuff like that makes me sad, and yet I have no problem making bacon and eggs tonight for dinner.....I can NEVER meet my food before I eat it.
It was the fact that they killed them and left them to rot where they were that amazed and saddened me. Maybe man should really think more about where he shouldn't build. If you need a levee then you're building in the wrong place.
