This is the lone survivor from a large bed of Asiatic Lilies I used to have in my garden. At night, their fragrance was divine. Then came the bunnies and who can exterminate bunnies? So I let them be and they devoured all my lilies (including some choice hostas) save this lone darling. I had stupidly planted her in a raised flower box along with some herbs. "What a dumb decision," I would say to myself each season when she bloomed tangled up in oregano, actually turned out to be not a bad idea.
